As I said earlier, I don\u2019t make New Year\u2019s resolutions. Instead I set goals for the year, looking at the things I hope to accomplish over the year.<\/p>\n
So, here’s what I’m planning to do in 2022. On the writing front, my first goal is to finish a book that will be released in the spring, Falling for the Deputy<\/strong><\/em>. It\u2019s pretty well along, but not done yet. Then I will finish Playing at Murder. I really hope to have it ready to publish by late spring. After that, I\u2019d like to at least get a good start on the first book of a new mystery series, using an idea that\u2019s been hanging around my brain for several years now.<\/p>\n This worked so well last year, I\u2019ve got to do it again. I\u2019m going to try to do at least five more short stories and submit them, as well as submitting at least three of my older stories as well.<\/p>\n Another writing goal is to investigate the possibility of doing audiobooks. I\u2019d like to start with some of my shorter pieces and then move toward getting audio versions of my novels.<\/p>\n On the personal level, I plan to continue the photo-scanning project, with the object of having it finished next Christmas. I should be able to complete it since I\u2019m about three quarters of the way to completion. I\u2019m also going to continue moving things out of my house, trying to get rid of as much \u2018stuff\u2019 as I can. I\u2019ve cut down the number of books I own by about half, but could probably eliminate a lot more.
